In designing Villa M we were inspired by fond memories of the homes we loved as children growing up in Asia. We sourced antiques and
artworks from all over Asia, decorating every room thoughtfully, with intimate attention to detail, combining understated elegance with a relaxed charm. We also ensured that from foundation to completion traditional Buddhist ceremonies were respected and that the villa is in harmony with the village architecture and environment, using eco friendly materials and supporting Samui’s Green Island Foundation.
The interior of the home is a tasteful extension of the exterior with white walls, plantation shutters and the rich texture of recycled teak floors. Five stylish double bedrooms with crisp white linen and individual ensuites, a modern designer kitchen, a study which offers a quiet place to read novels from the library, two living rooms with absolute beach front views, and balconies complete with Burmese plantation chairs from which you can watch the magnificent sunsets through swaying palms. The ultimate indulgence is the jacuzzi and bar area on the roof top terrace, an especially idyllic spot with magnificent views over the pool, the garden, the beach, the fishing harbor, and the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Siam.
