Villa M is also committed to making sustainability an integral part of everything we do, conserving and protecting Samui’s remarkable natural beauty and exotic wildlife. We were one of the first villas with a "green philosophy” with responsible waste management, using only environmentally friendly materials and recycled products in our construction, and since. Villa M is also involved in “The Green Island Project”, a collaborative, long-term programme of projects and events involving the whole community, whose priority is sustainability - “Reducing, Reusing Recycling”.

In our ”Fisherman’s Village” fishing is still a way of life. The villagers and their children are proactive in caring for their beautiful environment, creating less waste and encouraging visitors to leave a minimal holiday footprint on their island paradise.

Moving forward Villa M continues to make large investments and efforts towards sustainability, always looking for new ways to make a positive environmental and social impact, creating less waste and encouraging visitors to leave a minimal holiday footprint on our island paradise.

Villa M was accredited Travel Sustainable Level 3 - the second highest level in Booking.com's Travel Sustainable program, designed with experts including Travalyst and Sustainalize. We are currently working towards accreditation to the highest level Travel Sustainable Level 3+, usually reserved for hotels and not a property of our size.
